As an Avid Mac fan I was very disappointed when my Macbook started consuming up to 3gig of ram for some of the most basic of tasks, and along with all that ram usage came a noticeable drop in overall usability. While the actual number crunching didn’t slow down noticeably, the user experience certainly left a lot to be desired.
